Philipp Arnet joined CFM in August 2016 as a Managing Partner. He was previously a Partner and Head of the FSO Transaction Advisory Services business of EY in Switzerland, where he supported large and mid-sized banks and insurance companies with their planning and execution of national and international M&A transactions. Philipp started his professional carreer in 1996 at PwC in the audit department, followed by 13 years of international M&A and corporate finance advisory at PwC in Zurich and London as well as at KPMG in Zurich.

Philipp advised on numerous M&A transactions and related engagements in the financial services industry in various jurisdictions, including in Switzerland, Liechtenstein, the UK, the Channel Islands, Singapore, Germany, Austria, Italy and the Bahamas. His market and industry expertise include corporate and commercial banking, private banking and asset management, insurance, debt collection and fiduciary- and trust services. Furthermore, Philipp has a proven track-record in transaction support/due diligence, company valuation, business planning and modelling, market entry and strategic options analysis as well as financial accounting.

Philipp is a Swiss Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and holds a BA in Economics and Business Administration. He speaks German, English and French.

Philipp Arnet joined CFM in August 2016 as a Managing Partner. Paul Huber joined CFM in November 2013. Previously, he had already gained many years of experience in the financial sector and in the M&A area.

During and after his studies in Basel, Paul Huber worked at Prognos AG, a consulting firm in Basel, then at Swiss Bank Corporation (SBC) and afterwards became a partner in a consulting firm in Basel. Furthermore, he supported the Munich based Transaction Services team of PwC Germany during a 6-month exchange. His experience is rounded off by a M&A internship at The Corporate Finance Group AG and an assistant position in auditing at EY Switzerland.

During his time at PwC Switzerland, Pascal Krattiger has worked on transactions in the areas of private and retail banking, asset management, leasing and consumer finance as well as insurance. Furthermore, he advised on buy-side due diligence and fundraising projects in the FinTech industry.

Mischa Herzog holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and a Master’s degree in Accounting and Finance from the University of St. Gallen. He is fluent in German and English.

Mischa Herzog joined CFM in April 2021. Before his engagement with CFM, Mischa Herzog was an intern at Deloitte Switzerland in the financial advisory division for financial institutions. Prior to that, he was an intern at BASF Intertrade AG in the risk management team.

Frenk Mutschlechner is a Managing Partner of CFM. Damian Sailer joined CFM in June 2021 as a Managing Partner. Before he supported the strategic repositioning and transformation of the Swiss insurer Nationale Suisse (today part of Helvetia Group) as Head M&A and CFO of its German subsidiary. Damian started his career at Credit Suisse Group, where he advised financial institutions as an investment banking advisor in London and led M&A and corporate development projects as project manager in Zurich.

Damian has over 20 years of experience in the financial services industry. His focus and his passion is in the insurance industry, where he gained deep insight and understanding in the P&C, life, health and reinsurance sector as project manager, advisor and insurance executive. Damian has a proven track record throughout the M&A lifecycle (buy-/sell-side): strategic assessment, selection of targets / buyers universe, valuation, due diligence, negotiations and integration. In addition, he gained in-depth business restructuring, transformation and integration experience serving as CFO at Nationale Suisse Germany.

Kearney as a manager in the financial institutions group, where he was responsible for the execution of several projects in Germany, Switzerland, Russia and Bahrain in 2008 and 2009. His relevant corporate finance know-how is the result of several years in banking with WestLB M&A and equity investment in Düsseldorf and London. Christoph had previously been responsible for the senior coverage of equity sponsors and other intermediaries in his capacity as a Director after having advised for more than 8 years in international M&A mid cap transactions. He started his M&A career as an analyst at BHF-BANK AG, Frankfurt, and Charterhouse, New York. Previously he had completed the Investment Banking Trainee Program of Commerzbank in Frankfurt.

Christoph holds a diploma in business administration (international financial management) and graduated as a Dipl.-Kaufmann. He speaks German, English and French.
